For most people language is just a tool of communication, which it is. And yet, language can be much more than that. A language is so huge a concept that it is impossible for a person to master it in its entirety even after a lifetime of dedication. What this means is that no matter how much you know, there is always more to explore. You can almost make a game out of it. We, as human beings, are defined by what we can think. Expanding your vocabulary could well be the means of expanding our horizons of thought.
