Managing Expectations
June 17th, 2009 by Sudarsana

expectations
Think about the last time you got angry, upset or annoyed at something? Whether you were angry at your client backing off, or whether you were upset that your spouse forgot your birthday or whether you are annoyed at having spilt the milk, if you think hard enough, you will come to realize that upset and expectations are deeply rooted together. If you had no expectations, you would not get angry. This does not mean that you stop having expectations. But, what it also points to is that if you were not committed to a certain result, you would not have any expectations. Rejoice in the strength of your commitments.
